Goodwin Boxing are delighted to announce the management signing of Kingsley Egbunike on a 3 year contract.
Super Welterweight 29 year old Egbunike boasts a record of 7-2-1 with his last outing being a victory in an eliminator for the English title against Joshua Ejakpovi (14-2).
"I have not fulfilled my potential" said Eqbunike "I met with several potential managers adn clearly concluded that Steve Goodwin was the right man for me."
Goodwin said "There have been some strange career choices in Obi's (Egbunike's career) so far and after speaking with Obi and his trainer Aaron we have made a plan and will carry this out. All I want is for Obi to achieve what his talent deserves. Obi will be out on 17 June at York Hall and we will then make some moves in the latter part of the year."
Goodwin continued "Obi was a top class amateur and it is criminal that after 3 and a half years as a professional he is yet to compete for and win a title. We aim to change that and look forward to working with him. This is a very exciting signing".
