“ A show not to be missed”
Two title fights and some of the countries leading prospects. A typical rip roaring night at York Hall awaits.
Two Southern Area title fights headline the card.
For the Southern Area Super Lightweight title, Goodwin Boxing’s own Denis Denikajev defends his title and his unbeaten record against Tony Pills’ Tom Ansell. Denikajev won the title with a devastating stoppage of ID Hill whilst Ansell (10-2) is never in a dull fight and will be coming with all guns blazing. The two have sparred in the past and both are confident.
The Southern Area Super-Bantamweight title “REPEAT OR REVENGE” sees a rematch of a fight over 3 years on. Goodwin Boxings’ Peter Mirga takes on former champion Ryan Walker in a mouth watering clash. In November 2019 Walker when in the home corner won a close contest 97-94. Mirga has since signed with the Goodwin team and is fully confident that the result will be reversed.
Jerome Campbell (6-1) returns to the ring after his appearance on BT sport in 2020 where he came up short against current WBC Silver Featherweight champion Nick Ball. The destruction machine ball is 17-0 stopping 10 of his opponents. Campbell did not get stopped and put on a really credible performance. Jerome has taken time out for personal reasons but he is back and intends it to be with a bang.
The Micky Amoo managed fighter Ahmed Hatim is a Super Lightweight going places and has a 6 round contest against Liam Richards. Hatim is hunting for titles in 2023.
The ever improving Super Welterweight Shocki Khan is back in his first 6 rounder against teak tough George Rogers.
Graham Everett’s Mikey Webster Kane has a 6 round contest whilst one of Goodwin Boxings most exciting prospects George Hennon (7-1) has another 6 rounder and is another who wants titles in 2023.
Super-Middleweight prospect the undefeated Ellis Steward is 2-0 having beaten Robbie Chapman and Jordan Grannum so far. Ellis takes on teak tough Fernanco Valencia.
Ronnie Mulock has his second contest at Super Lightweight against evergreen Michael Mooney whilst we see the long awaited debut of highly touted Zaki Hussain.
