Then on 11/3/2023 Mitchell proved that his managers words were so true.
Taking on undefeated Balraj Singh in an eliminator for the Southern Area title, Mitchell dropped Singh twice in round 3 before finishing him off after only 6 seconds of the fourth round.
September 2023 saw Mitch have his first title shot when he took on Brad Pauls for the English Middleweight title. Mitch was stopped in the 8th round after giving a great account of himself. Mitch took some time out as he became a father for the first time and returned to the ring with a very impressive display with a points victory over Jordan Grannum.
Expect Mitch to return to the ring September 2024.
